Make the Most of Your Access Plan this Spring

Spring marks the midway point of the Access Plan year, making it a great time to “spring clean” your recruitment strategy. As your focus shifts to Decision Day and yield, make sure you have all the tools you need to build your incoming and future classes.

1. Order or Stack a Plan

In the second half of the 2024–25 cycle, many campuses find they need more opportunities to reach students and bolster seasonal recruitment efforts. Stacking a plan allows you to increase your outreach with more Search records and Connections™ audiences. It's easy to do, just sign in to your Search account or reach out to your College Board consultant.

Note: If you don't have a 2024–25 plan yet, it’s not too late to order one. An Access Plan helps you reach more than 5 million students in Search and 3 million in Connections. Order your plan through our self-service platform or reach out to a College Board consultant to get started.

2. Use Up All Your Volume

When the 2024–25 subscription year ends in August, your Search records and Connections audiences won’t roll over. To ensure you’re getting the most from your plan, make sure to license all your remaining records over the next several months. Familiarize yourself with the Search features included in your plan for opportunities to reach more best-fit students.

Bonus: Don’t forget about Connections! Make sure your strategy includes communication plans for students newly added or returning to Connections during the score release window from April 16 to May 21.

3. Schedule a Call with Your Consultant

An important part of finishing the year strong is preparing for what comes next. Explore the updates coming to 2025–26 Access Plans, then schedule a call with your College Board consultant. Your expert consultant can assist you in strategizing for this year and next. It’s also a good time to discuss ordering options, as we’re offering the opportunity to select a multi-term agreement for the first time ever.
